Obviously there was use of things that were not included like screws, solder, wire, underseal, boss white, leak detector spray and other things that were in the garage anyway, but if you were undertaking a job of this size, then you would have these things anyway I would suspect.

For me to get my money back, just 8250 miles of normal driving, and just 4120 miles when I am towing

Happy days
HI,not sure if you can use ''Boss White '' with LPG ,should be 'Calor tight''or ptfe tape,as certain compounds aren't compatible with LPG as it is more corrosive and at a higher pressure than Natural Gas ,which 'Boss White is normally used.

Thanks Ken,

Will have to keep an eye on it then

I was going with advice from a lpg site on that one as well, that will teach me.

I meant if you were bored with your current career you could get fully LPG registered because there´s lots of dodgy installs out there from so called registered outfits !!

Ah I see

Not much chance of me changing career at the moment, the boss at my place is quite good really

Its a shame that there are dodgy people out there, have you not thought about being registered and doing conversions? I would think if two of you were doing it, it would take about 10 hours per car to do a nice tidy job.

Nor mine, only interested in bodywork, suspension, and engine performance upgrades

I didn't ask if he'd fitted a filler cap. I asked were he'd fitted it.
