I think you'll find the drains are 'pinched' at the end in a duckbill fashion. Snipping these off creates a wider opening in the drain.

One member on our forum had a great idea for testing if the Plenums are blocked:
"pour some water into the chamber and watch below to see if it flows through" if it flows then there will be no blockage, if not then get prodding Ken. |

I guess this is why facelift models have the upper drain tube shorter and full bore. The plenum floor drains are always the flooding culprits. The nearside one is easy to keep clear and is sufficient for keeping everything dry. Forget the other one. Or if regularly rodding through is a chore, fit a water alarm. TC |
