engine differance 2.5 kv6
I have the basic 2.5 in my zt, i also have a 190+ in my ztt, the car is being brocken, what is the differance? between the 2, as i am stuck with what to do, will it be easy,er to swoop engines or swoop bits, what will i need to take of off the 190+to turn my 160 into the 190.

Pretty much all the induction and exhaust components, and that's before you start looking at electrics and internal components. I'd go for the swap.

As already said, but the key internal difference is that the 190 engine has higher lift camshafts which supposedly contribute to the higher performance. Unless you're doing a belt/water pump overhaul at the same time, swapping the whole engine is the obvious route. However, don't forget that the 190 also has larger front brakes.......

From memory, the 190 used a higher lift exhaust cam - interestingly enough the 180 Sports Auto has it too.

thauks but its a bit late now parts from zt-t have gone into other zt/s a lot of the parts have gone into my zt as the zt-t came with a lot of options car had gone onto the t4 at least 4 times we could not find out what was causing the problem so i got fed up with it and broke the car

Where did you see that Mat? The camshaft timing is certainly different on the 190 but there’s no mention of lift in RAVE.

Yep, cam timing specs are in there, both cams are different. Don't have access now to dig it out.
