Fitted the new rubber to the ZT wheels after giving them a good clean, then later on picked up the new arms, fresh from their visit to the shotblasters.
It should be interesting to see how these fare painted with real paint, in comparison to the rubbish they come supplied ex works in Brian |

Well after a concerted effort with a cup brush on the angle grinder to ensure there was no trace of the badly applied black paint remaining, the first coat is on..... Bonda Zinc anti rust primer.
So it's tomorrow morning's job to apply a couple of coats of chassis black, then they will be ready for cavity wax on Saturday and finally fitted to the car. Ooh, nearly there Brian |

Not mine, but did a few service jobs on Mrs Noc's 75, and also gave it the once over for the MOT.
Not too bad, but one thing I replaced last year has failed already. The dust cover for the track rod end was starting to crack so replaced it with this one bought as a kit of covers: [IMG][/IMG] The rest of them went straight in the bin, and I fitted a new track rod end. Just need to change the ATF, rear pads, the brake fluid, clean up the rear drums and set the handbrake up and it will be all ready for the MOT. |

Black paint on upper rear arms, then investigated "lifetime guarantee" powerflow exhaust, then decided to get the TIG welder out of the cupboard
It's like watching paint dry...........literally I'm in two minds to refit the other set of upper arms I have, just so I can get it off the ramp to allow the fitting up of another altogether more pretty ZT to take place. Ho hum. Brian |

Bad vibration on acceleration
I was getting some vibration through the steering wheel and pedals and clutch judder which was steadily getting worse, took it for it's mot and it passed ok mentioned to tester about vibration he said he could not find anything wrong with the car, so took it home put it on ramps had to take off the under tray to have a better look and found that the lower engine mount rubber completely split through, replaced it this morning took about 10 mins to swap over to a new one took longer to re fit the under tray all the vibration and the clutch judder gone now, drives like a new car again cost me £23.49 off the bay for the new mount
