Not been on holiday for years so not sure if I’m correct but EasyJet and Jet2holidays are two different things are they not? One is purely an airline the other a package holiday company and governed by different rules, so not really comparable

Yes they are different companies, but both sell package holidays.

Thank you Keith, I wasn’t aware EasyJet also did holiday packages, I thought they were purely an airline company

Well, true to to their word Jet2 holidays have refunded every penny paid. this was partly through paypal, partly through current account and the majority through a credit card.

Only problem is that as I have subsequently paid the credit card balance in full I now have a positive balance on my Credit Card of over £1500. I need to sort that out with the bank to transfer it to a current account.

I hope they survive as I will be holidaying with them more or less exclusively when it comes to package holidays, all due to this experience of customer service

Great customer care Dave.

Back in the day I got booked on a Dan Air flight for work club class. They couldn't do enough for me - a choice of champagne or fresh orange juice as I got on the plane, and the food was superb. When I got back to the office I told the secretary to book with them again, but sadly a couple of weeks later they went belly up.

Long waits for Tui customers it seems, with more cancellations today!

That was due to your champagne consumption...
