Obviously you don’t direct the jet into the fridge vents or panel seams.
I even power wash the underside at least once a season.
I think most pressure washers give a fair bit more oomph to the water than 60mph in the rain.

Being a biker 60 mph in the rain is nothing but having a pressure washer turned on me----NO WAY.---

As for a caravan---DON'T DO IT !!!!!!!!!!

As per my previous post John, I turn the pressure down on the lance to rinse off and only use the pressure on the bottom skirt rail to clean the moss out.

well you have 2 schools of thought.
If you use a pressure washer and get water ingress you will regret it, if you don't use a pressure washer and don't get water ingress you will never know if you could have used a pressure washer..... but will you regret not using one.... you got to ask yourself 1 question, do I fell lucky... well do ya punk?

A caravan is only hard work to clean if its neglected. A proper wash and a decent polish / wax several times a year makes subsequent grime easy to remove. Black streaks from window rubbers are easily removed with a little neat car was soap or there are specific removers. I use an extending brush for the main body work using a sponge or soft brush to shift the enevitable build up of grime from around awning rails, locker frames etc.

Really missing ours this year

Thanks for all the input guys.

I'm tempted to use the variable lance and avoid using the turbo dirt blaster, turn the pressure down and stand further back, but I guess the sticker on my Nilfisk says it all really.

It’s down to common sense really. Yes if you aim the tip of the lance direct onto joints you risk the “possibility” of causing water ingress.

With the lance kept at a distance the pressure is greatly reduced i.e. no greater than rainfall whilst travelling on the road.

I’ve been using pressure washers for 50 years and to my knowledge never caused any leaks.
I once passed the lance directly over my hand while washing an item and holding it at the same time. Yes is does sting a bit. !

Have you thought about one of those elasticated car covers, or even two joined together for the length of the van? Put it on when off season, no more crud from leaf or bird.
