Looked nice at first, but it has a couple of faults that could be expensive.

Always annoys me, when they say Cowley built, when NO ROVER 75 TOURERS were ever built at Cowley!!..
And to add the Longbridge Rover 75s were much better built against corrosion compared to Oxford built ones.. the Brummy ones were much better especially 2000/2001 /2002 ones. Best three years of construction. |

No cambelt change and oil in the coolant, he needs to knock the 1 off the asking price.

Perhaps a bit dear. I paid £1100 for my 2-litre Y-reg KV6 tourer 117k miles four years ago, and it was in better condition than this one althoguh there was no service history. I'm rather ashamed to say that with heavy useage it is looking a bit rough now and has acquired a sill repair too.

Those "repairs" on the sills are abysmal, they are what Charles Ware would refer to as short term MOT patches.
I've spent almost a month with my own car on axles stands carefully cutting out tinworm, and letting in proper metal, and know exactly what is involved in putting corrosion damage right, and slapping a plate over the rot, then masking up a wavy line then painting it black is not the way forward. Sadly this type of fix makes rust damage much worse.............next |

Nice looking car though. Let's hope it finds a sympathetic new owner who will attend to the faults properly. However I suspect that depends on the current owner reflecting on his asking price.
Mine's an '02 & does seem free of the niggling little faults that other owners suffer from.
