Default Classic & Sports Car November issue

The November issue has a buyer's guide to the Rover 75 and ZT/ZTT. Nice article but not much in it will be new to members of this forum. All the same, nice to see recognition of the cars as modern classics in a leading magazine.

I consider that an article on our cars in this magazine is great progress - it usually (no, always) concentrates on the upper end of the market. I am a subscriber, but hadn't got round to reading my copy yet - it landed with the monthly magazines from the other five clubs that I belong to.

Great progress indeed. I'm looking forward to reading the article.

I occasionally treat myself to C&S. Normally in the upper echelons but l don't mind that. They've always had plenty of Rover features though & have quite a few of the more everyman classics featured such as the BMC A60 Farina's. I like the comparison tests too, eg: Rover P5 against MK10 Jaguar or Austin Sheerline vs Derby Bentley, that kind of thing.
They do feature some very interesting & important vintage rarities too.

The trouble is you end up with boxes full of old magazines which you can't bear to get rid of & a sorting session invariably ends up as a reading session which just reinforces your desire to hang onto them.

Very true!

I still have four 4 drawer filing cabinets full at the end of one of my garages dating from the 1990s. I tended to only keep ones with interesting articles, but I guess I would not know where to find them now, so really should bin them. Not encouraged to do so in the nice weather, and it will be too cold in the winter, so they will continue to stay there I suspect. Anyone interested?
