So sorry to hear the sad news of Tiddys passing, she had a happy loving life with you and Debz & I shall miss the pinpoint timing needed to enter and exit your front door..

I have to agree with the comments, the herding instinct was there right up until the end, you will all be safe when you pop round now.

I feel for you Andy, it’s an awful thing. Hang on to the memories & give your other jougal loads of love, it’ll help to ease the pain.

My best friend who I grew up with was similar to your loss Andy/Debs. Seems like only yesterday but it was the Christmas period of 1975/1976 that she left us. Mum worked at a hotel on the seafront in Sunderland, I think that the artist L.S. Lowry used to frequent it. A four-legged character also frequented it and she had a litter, the last of which my mother placed in a shopping bag and brought home to us on a bus - mum and dad never had a car. Every Christmas I reflect on times gone by and my dear childhood friend in particular who lived to a good old age in canine years - 13.5yrs. Some great four-legged characters came after her in our wider family and they bonded with me and I with them to the same degree. Miss them all and fully understand the heartache when they pass, as we all must do one day.

A terrible thing to go through but a final act of kindness.

Oh no!, what a dreadful end to the worst year I can recall

I feel your pain, I recall wandering around the town moor for around five or six hours with a lead and collar in my pocket and very red eyes the last time I was in your shoes.

Farewell Tiddy AKA Bitey McBiteface, she will be sorely missed but I'm sure herding many sheep on the other side of rainbow bridge as we speak.

Take care
