neptune or electric blue ???
Over the weekend I was taking my door cards off of V149 and noticed a sticker on the inside of the door card it had on it the description of the panel and part number. ELB109370RQG DR/CASING LH RR ELEC BLUE 03/09/99 06:36
The brochure for 99 says Neptune blue. I’ve never heard of electric blue. I know someone who worked in R&D at rover and he said the production line called it Neptune green…… Anyone else ever come across this? Thank you Josh

It was probably the Magna Kansei (door card supplier) description of the colour for the door cards rather than Rovers.

Just a quick thought; might ELEC mean electric windows, which your car presumably has, as a Connoisseur.

Electric blue was the name given to a bright, solid blue exterior colour used on Rover Mini's and Metro's in the mid 90's.
As it appears to be a rear door card, it could well mean that it's for a car with electric rear windows, as Classic models had wind-up windows in the back. Having said that, I'm not sure if the Personal Line trims (Neptune blue, Deep Sea green & Aubergine) were ever available on Classic...???
