I can't handle the cold.
Both I think, lol. Dave would probably admit to one or the other, lol.

Don't like the cold myself in the garage, let alone outside. I'm lucky my local garage is only about 1/2mile away, so it'd be a drive up there and say "please, would you do it"!

I'll join you in being a nutcase then mate. Just above freezing down here, but I'm a southern wuss. My job was much easier as well, or should have been but this is me. Washer pump leaking and front fog light out, so thought it easier to take the front bumper off. All fitted and back together, but stupidly I didn't check the washer pump was working. After market pump had a much tighter fitting connector which I hadn't pushed home.

Pah, that is nothing!

I was out there today for a good 5 mins, whilst I topped up the washer bottle on SWMBO's motor.

You bunch of lightweights, we have 2 foot of snow down here: -

Hello Dave,

My 75 is the same vintage as yours and hasn't been used since before the snow. Today I made myself comfortable and ready to depart to attend a relative's funeral. Sat. nav. programmed, engine running but no forward movement.

It felt as if the handbrake had seized. I engaged reverse and it moved with a jolt and a terrible grinding sound. I got out to be greeted by a fully deflated OSF tyre and collapsed suspension on that corner.

(I'm just about to start a new thread.)
