Where have yer stuck yer aerial?
Getting a roof mount DAB aerial. Seems most have them at the rear. I believe the angle is fixed so would probably look silly at the front. I read a window aerial isn't as good as an external one, and here in Devon the signal is poor. Feeling a bit criminal drilling the bodywork, I'm reminded of that pic of a 75 bonnet with a J j j....no, can't say the word, mascot drilled onto it.

Directly above the rear courtesy light.A dab/fm amplified sharkfin, gives excellent stable reception.

I was going to get a standard mast-type aerial and mount it from the rear crash bar...seemed like a good way to get DAB without drilling holes for a sharkfin (could feed the cable through the grommet for the parking sensors).
Never got round to trying it to know if it was a stupid idea or not... |
