Many thanks for posting this Steve,a great opportunity to go back down memory lane & say as Actros has said those were indeed great days with fantastic memories.

A few pics from me from the early days & to the memory of Eve,would love these meets to be resurrected hopefully in order at least to try & get back to meeting up again with Friends & Members it's been far too long without seeing.

On a lighter note, thoughts from Peeps are welcome on What Dave looks like he is doing to that Space Hopper?????? in 2nd pic.

Chinese lanterns gently drifting in the night sky , towards the overhead power lines,
Space hopper relay races were great fun after a few beers. I also remember we had a tandem space hopper. Pretty certain Actros nicked that in case he ever got a friend...

I like number 4, which I assume is a tutorial on how to break into a Rover 75 through the quarter light!

Chinese lanterns dropping around the aircraft are what I remember, charging round the field in gusting winds trying to catch the gazebo, burnt head from the barbeque and aching sides from the endless laughter - how lucky we were to have had all this with people that have become friends for life.

Default Thanks.

The first picture has me pushing Denise around in her wheelchair, this was three months before her life saving transplant. The transplant was a success and, she's seven years post transplant and became a grandmother for the third time today.
