My score
The score on my car is 14. As it is a KV6 it could only qualify for 18 (engine and re-map cannot count) so I should be happy I guess so just keep flashing my credit card at the petrol station

point 19, just wondering why it must not have towed a caravan but can have towed anything else?

Caravans
Hate caravans on the road, so a tongue in cheek comment. Caravans should be self propelled

I only scored 10 BUT:
2 (auto) - manual is more fun and uses less fuel and cheaper tax 6 (sun roof) - don't they leak? 9 (mileage) - OK, I submit on that one (260,000) 10 (1 owner) - but only one from 6,500 miles 11 (garage) - I like to let it air (I haven't got a garage) 12 (wheels) - I prefer my (factory fit) 17in star spokes 14 (hi line) - OK, I give in! 17 (MG) - I chose a Rover because I prefer it 20 ((weekly wash/polish) - I don't want to wear the past away. On reflection, I lose by a mile. But I'm happy! |

My ZT scores 12 on those points, purely for the fact that it isn't a diesel, auto tourer.
I would also add with all the good bits from the Mk1s that got lost with PPD and the Mk2s. Interior wise, I found my Mk2 disappointing, so fitted a lot of the PPD bits, carpet, dashboard, heater panels, furry door rubbers etc. The only thing I would probably swap mine for is a monogram, but I love my Firefrost. I never bought it for the fuel economy, so the fact it only does mid 20's mpg around town doesn't worry me, and in normal circumstances I probably only do about 4000 miles a year with it. Funnily enough, my Volvo 740 2l auto isn't much better for fuel economy around town either, in fact might be worse! |

Macafee, nothing against caravan owners as long as they can drive them properly, as you appear to be able to. As you can see I have a self propelled one.
Really only put that point in to stir up some good conversation, something I have missed during this frigging lockdown. First one was not so bad, but this one I am finding a lot more frustrating. Cheers
