Default Top Gear - Tribute to Sabine Schmitz

The BBC have recorded a special 30 minute episode in tribute to Sabine, to be broadcast on Wednesday 7th April at 7.30pm (BBC1)

Also on their I-player (now) although I've not seen it yet.

Clarkson & Co. plus Toto & Susie Wolf, and David Coulthard.

Independant reviews say it's been very well done.

Mike

She was a lovely lady, no-nonsense & full of beans & though l stopped watching Top Gear on a regular basis long ago, she would have made a great presenter. She did some work with Tiff Needell on Fifth gear, an excellent pairing, they both have/had the knowledge & talent for such programmes & also the screen presence too.
I'll set the box to record.

Actually l did watch the Top Gear James Bond feature a couple of weeks ago & found it watchable.

I too will be watching this, as you say a lovely lady and a great driver. She was full of beans and always had a great smile on her face. I recently watched the fifth gear programme with Tiff , another person that really can handle a car.
It's a cruel world, R.I.P Sabine. What a lady!

I watched this on the iPlayer a day or two ago. Very complimentary and respectful. A real talent and a loss to the motorsport world.

Having now watched it, I really do think that it was a very respectful tribute.

Some footage in there that I hadn't seen before.

Try and track a copy if you've missed it, but appreciate skillful driving.

Regards

Mike

So talented and so much fun. She is missed already. Her smiles and laughter live on in my memory.
