Prince Philip - RY Britannia - Albatross Marine
Not sure if this a well known fact or not.
Amongst the "toys" HRH had on board the Royal Yacht, was an Albatross Aluminium (inboard) speed / ski boat. Via the "old speedboats" website there are (were) a few photos of it both stowed, and being launched (with a derrick) Some years ago it turned up on ebay, and scrolling down the link below, you should find some relevant photos.
