Default I am thinking of saving this.

Very few T Reg examples left. Must be worth saving.

I only have on street parking, but there's a safe storage site less than a mile and a half away where I can keep it, or my current 75.

Its MOT'd until late August so plenty of time for MGR John to do the necessary.

I really do hope you save this car. The details look favourable, I don't know if the SEF Reg was still a local register car, but it used to be the case.

Same owner for 17 years says a lot, especially with what is, for the cars age, low mileage.

T reg very rare now, definitely worth saving. Good luck

Its a local car. EF used to indicate a Hartlepool registration, at least it did when I lived there.

Seventeen years of ownership says a lot. My current 75 had the same owner for about 15 and was MOT'd at the same garage for just about al of that time.

The welding is not a problem, we all know that its one of their weak points - pun intended. There's an MOT testing station next door to the garage which is selling the car, so perhaps I could put it through a pre sale mock test to ascertain what it really needs.

Absolutely save her.

Can't be many "T" reg cars left .

Good luck.

Thanks for the responses, its heartening to know that there's such enthusiasm.

Even if it does need work other than the sill welding that's been declared by the vendor, MGR John has a vast array of used spares, so the chances of needing an expensive new part are quite low.

I bought my present 75 in the knowledge that it needed sill welding, this was declared by the vendor, and I thought nothing of it.

Default Update.

Just spoken to the dealer. Will be meeting him at 1330, at the same time as the previous owner will be there to submit paperwork as the car was previously on a private plate. A chance to meet the previous owner will be well worth while, and hopefully, if I do purchase the car, to let them know that it will be saved and going to a caring home. Sorry for sounding like I am adopting a cat.

But just had a little setback. The local storage facility is full, though I can keep one car at the front of the house and the other at the rear. Far from ideal, but OK for the time being.

Best of luck with this.

As Trikey points out, being a diesel adds to simply being a T reg. car.

Don't forget that this will also have genuine Connelly leather seats.

Regards

Mike
