Not like the price of them http://users.autoexposure.co.uk/sear...=Any&Trans=Any
Bet a load of these cars are hidden away somewhere??? Seems a very lot of money for a 7 year old car, even with low mileage??? Looks bad seeing Proton and Perodua next to Rover

Never ceases to amaze me how expensive everything is there. They wany £10K for a 54 plate 1.8T Contemporary SE? As low as the miles are, 10K? For that money you could buy a Jaguar S-Type R with full media pack and afford more than a year's insurance and fuel with the change. Although the Rover is a nicer car, I'm sure 400 BHP and 408 ft. lbs of torque would distract you from the differences just fine.
Even the new 08 reg. Rover 75 V8 at 30K is surely a bit much? Yes it's a classic already but you can get a low mileage V8 for a third of that. The money you'd lose on it would be madness. For that money you could get a Mercedes-Benz CLS 55 AMG or just possibly a CLS 63 AMG. Both are so rare (Especially the 63) that they too are classics in waiting and the BHP of the 63 is literally only about 10 BHP off double the output of the V8 in the 75. Plus you get a wood dash, leathers, massage seats etc. Surely the CLS 63 AMG is the holy grail of discreet luxury performance? With this in mind SMG Rover seem to be in a world of their own. Do they ever actually sell any Rovers? |

Those cars down at SMG Rover are in fact only 5 year old build and not 7 as stated....having said that i can see why the gent further up the thread would like one, i have said this before a great talking point and if your going to keep it what the hell.....you only live once. The dealer also has one more new Rover 1.8 Turbo comnny se fully loaded motor in starlight with the wooden steering wheel etc etc
