WOW what an analysis, I think I'll stick my head in the gas oven while there's some gas left. Can I convert my Rover to nuclear power?

Reported a year ago...
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0324225511.htm reported 6 years ago... http://www.guardian.co.uk/science/20...andpetrol.news a whole website devoted to this... http://www.peak-oil-crisis.com/ but on t'other hand... http://www.rense.com/general37/petrol.htm http://chartsbin.com/view/cek All depends who you believe...and what is estimated and what is proven... trouble is...it is in the oil companies' interests to play down the amount of oil left to keep the price high.... |

I spend part of my time living in a 3rd world developing country where the libyans have a big foothold in the supply of oil and are up there with the big boys and so offer a wider choice for motorists to make more of their cash. Some how, I cannot see Oil Libya setting up in the UK. I agree Martin, the world economy is in uncharted waters.

Not just oil either. My daughter works for the trading division of a large (French) energy supplier and she tells me that if it wasn't for the recession, then we would have already had some lights out periods.
Can't think of any new power stations being built recently, either - not in the UK anyway!!

Yea the State will lend us one i'm sure. We'd have been able to keep our own if, what I read is true, Brown hadn't signed up to two unwanted new carriers and guaranteed work for the shipyard until 2024
