Can i join? My new,to me,cdt, has 178,000. Fantastic car. Used to belong to pedro444,a real credit to him. Just had it checked over today by a rover xpart mechanic,he said it is in A1 condition. I intend putting at least another 50,000 on her.Im sure she can do it no problem.

It doesnt look like it's done that many miles, it just goes to show these cars can easily handle the miles. If it's the one I looked at reebs I thought it was a low low miliage car.

My old 2.0 V6 Auto had 120K when i sold her for My ZT with only 39K on the clock.

I did carry out alot of work prior to its last MOT but just usual common faults/servicing items. Only real differance between the two is the auto box on the Rover was not as smooth as on the ZT although i dont think this one is perfect.

The Rover is still going strong with its new owner still uses no oil or coolant! He only checks once in a blue moon as well!

Any V6's with more then 180k??

John

Ellow Reebs.

Only another 8k and you will be eligible to join... heh heh..

If we leave the "K" off the 150K peeps will think we have super fast cars innit..

Re Petrol, there was a lad in the new Forest (Foxy something?) who sold a petrol car last year at almost 250k and it was running very nicely. he had his name down to join the RBR but ducked out at the last minute due to family issues..

there was a man who wrote in a HJ column asking for a replacement for his ZT and ZS. The ZT had 400k+ the ZS 300k+ owned since new both original engine and gearbox, both were kv6.
