This is the car that saved Rover and become MG Rover as it drove john towers and the boys into Q gate and our company was born MG ROVER, also gave 6000 workers an extra 5 years of employment and kept the Rover 75 on track for production or the car would have never got off the ground, The worlds press were waiting for the day John took Rover under his wing MAY 2000 . I remember the march to Save (Rover) through Birmingham, as I was on it. It went on for at least 5 miles.

I was there and this car is special and still alive we need to find it and save it, what motoring history. That day was strong emotions and the feelings of joy when they were saved from the asset strippers and a uncaring BMW group. This car needs to be saved. 11 years on.

Also perhaps the car that enabled the Phoenix Four to fill their bank accounts with millions for an outlay of £19000 each I recall. Not a bad return.

The amount of special 75s is amazing. The 75 has had such a troubled life with the near end of rover so early on it's great that there are so many special cars. If I find it on my regular search on eBay I'll let you know

Hi Tony its the car I am interested in not their personal endings on the company. However I take your point. Some one got it, Rabbet found S750LJW after a long search however time is not on our side with the early 1999/2000 models now classed as bangers, so fridge frezzer beckons for alot of this early stuff now. save it while we can.
