I drove to Berwick upon tweed and back and only saw?
As you know two weeks ago i brought our 2005 54 plate conny se tourer in that beautiful cimarron green. I though well help pass the time going up the
A1M, see how many Rovers we could see, plus driving around, well total mileage there and back to the Midlands was 700, with a little bit a driving over to Holy island etc, in the 02 tourer. I was amazed just how many Rover 25, rover 45's there was in Berwick, loads of the new shapes as well of the 25, the 45 not so many new shapes, but by golly loads of the 04 model backwards. The poor old Rover 75 did not fair very well, in fact neither the mark 1 or mark 2 had much of a look in at all. The colours of the 12 we saw were mostly silver or firefrost (yawn yawn) great colours, don't get me wrong, but well very boring now, If you ever see a 75 in a mark 2, it's nearly always a starlight silver. I did get to see one, YES ONE CIMARRON GREEN Rover 75 conny SE coming the other way with chrome mirrors etc, it looked the dogs bits, excellent. but again the tourers were just not there only two both mark 1 versions, and one in Royal Blue. I am convinced the Cimarron green is as rare as the Primrose yellow on tourers, checking on auto trader, they never come up and on saloons its hit and miss. But the next time you are on your travels check out "Rovers on the road" they are dying mate dying.....I am getting a little fond of the new shape 45 in saloon format, and might pick one of these up in the future as these are the rarest new shapes of the lot, very rare you get past a 56 plater in that model shape. But overall Rovers in North east England faring well....Total Rover 25 (76), total Rover 45 (59) total Rover 75 (12) both mark 1 (7) mark 2 (5)

Newcastle is stuffed full of 75's. I am always amazed at the amount of them about. Obviously just not on the A1.

I didn't see a single 75 or ZT on my drive from Preston to Bromsgrove tonight at all. They seem to be dwindling in numbers now.
