Navall 3, a few general questions
Hi,
I've had my Navall 3 headunit installed for about 3 or 4 weeks now, haven't really played with it too much but have observed a few things which have necessitated several questions which I would like to pose, Firstly what is airpin? I've installed it but don't know how to use it/how to set it up Secondly, I've downloaded the torque pro app and although I've set up the profile and managed to connect it with the obd adapter, it doesn't seem to connect to the ecu Thirdly the vehicle info app, well, again doesn't seem to function My fourth query is to do with the phone dialler. My phonebook is displayed with my contacts but when receiving a call it only displays the number not the name of the person, is it a setting s thing Anyway I think that should suffice for now if anyone could help with the above questions I would very much appreciate it, Kind regards, Marc

Just to say that I got AirPin to work for me - I was waiting through bluetooth and selecting the device through bluetooth and expecting AirPin to take over - turns out I needed to TETHER the android unit to my iPhone - i.e. my iPhone provides an internet connection to the HU android through wifi - then AirPin worked and anything I played on my iPhone played through to the HU (when the airpin 'alias' was selected as the sourced). It even played my on-phone satnav voices etc.
My only question is - when I am roaming, and I tend to stop data (switching it off at the phone) - does this mean I will not be able to play my iPhone stuff this way then?? I had another play with Torque and the OBD dongle - uninstalled Torque, unpaired everything bluetooth re-paired and reinstalled and not a sausage - it sees the dongle and establishes a BT connection - but no connection to the ECU ....
