Decisions Decisions........
Well the chance cropped up this week to get an Automatic for my daily commute to work.
With a bad left leg and constant heavy stop start traffic each day I eventually cried enough is enough Only trouble is its not an Automatic Rover, its actually a 1998 `R` Plate Honda Accord 2.0 I suppose I could kid myself and pretend its a Rover 600 I could not find a 75 Auto near me that was not just trouble waiting to happen and I needed reliable transport, with only 42,000 miles on the clock and a tidy body I could not resist, only trouble is what to do with my beloved `54 plate` facelift Connie 1.8t. This is the decision, do I just Moth ball her along with my pre facelift Club SE that I have NO plans in parting with, or do I sell her on ? 75 values are so up and down at the moment, but I cannot justify or have the room to keep 2 cars off the road, even though I have spent ages and countless pounds on getting her up to scratch The though of someone buying her just as a `cheap` form of transport, and knowing they possibly wont take care of her bring me out in a cold sweat, it will be like selling one of my Kidneys Last edited by tidus72; 30th January 2016 at 17:42.. |

I'm glad I don't have to make that decision, if you've done as much to it as you say then can you not let a family member use it until your leg is better? That way you're not selling it and you can still keep an eye on the car

That`s not very good MPG, I only travel a total of 6 miles to work and back , I may put the 75 on good old ebay next week just to see what happens, trouble is its going to get lost in a sea of 75`s
Anyone know of other good places to advertise ? Last edited by tidus72; 30th January 2016 at 17:52.. |

Advertise it here and it will likely be properly looked after by the buyer

The OP will, however, need to be a Subscribed member to sell on here

Well i`ve taken the plunge and stuck her on ebay, I am preparing myself for the usual time wasters and idiots
My accord is the same colour as the above but has the face lifted front and no leather, It will do me until a decent 75 Auto comes along Last edited by tidus72; 31st January 2016 at 15:57.. |

Must say that the Accords of that shape are excellent cars. My Mum had one in the late 90s and it was fantastically reliable. Wasn't that sore on fuel either. Absolutely enormous boot, and very comfortable. They're a lot tougher than 75s, and can survive with far less maintenance.

Hi.
why don't you pay to subscribe here and sell your car here. You will know its gone to a good home with such dedicated members here. It would also be nice for you to see how your car is doing by visiting this site and reading up on how the new owner is getting on with it. I would imagine you would get quite a lot of interest here for too in the for sale section. . .Johnny
