75 diesel remap
I have been thinking of having a remap on my Connie auto and as my annual insurance renewal is due in July I enquired of my insurer (Tesco) the likely increase in premium. Sorry they said 'we no can do'.
Would members kindly advise me of which insurance companies can offer cover and what sort of premiums they have to pay. Tesco last year they charged me £247 for fully comp., this year they want £348, a £100 (40%) increase - blimey! Nothings changed on my side other than it appears from other quotes on the comparison sites that all premiums have increased by a large margin. |

Hi Ray,
Yes the AA wanted an extra £500 when I inquired about the remap. I then tried the 3 common comparison websites and moneysupermarket came up with £237,and I ended up with Admiral,,but watch out for those renewal hikes and compare again next year, then go back to them with the lowest figure and they usually match it. The remap on a 116 auto is really worth it,bye the way. Ken. |

Don't bother with AXA, they wouldn't touch it!
I'm with Admiral. Think some members go through classic specialists like Pete Best etc... Hope you get a good quote
