So, the mirrors on my CDTI have stopped working ( both) and when you turn the ignition off the windscreen wiper swipes the screen once, what's this all abart then, your thoughts would be appreciated.

Classic signs of a canbus issue, any water anywhere there shouldnt be?

Plenum, ews box if you have a sunroof, boot area if you have highline audio fitted.

I agree with Trikey,on the canbus idea.
When strange things happened to mine,I unplugged the FB,Heater and everything went back to normal.
