Identify all things it's wrong in these pictures
Had a broken spring on Monday , so I thought change the whole set , dampers , springs and bearing on both sides since the shocks getting tired on both sides so ordered genuine once from Best of British. The usual garage was booked until next week , so he recommended a new garage Gorbals Mot Center . After £200 just for the labour and Their workmanship . |

That is downright dangerous! apart from the incorrect fitting of the top washer, excessive apparent differences on the tightening of the centre thread etc is that nut actually missing front the top of the strut? Scandalous.
I assume you will be politely bringing it to their attention

In picture 1 - I think the washer is upside down?
In picture 2 - the nut been cut off on top In picture 3 - there's the gap in the spring aid ( is it normal? ) I checked my other tourers there's no gap . And the car sits quiet high at the front . |

Gorbals MOT Centre? I wonder how many dangerously MOTd cars there are running around Glasgow? If you don't get any joy in getting a full refund plus extra for the damage done to your parts, then a quick call to DVSA might make them think Shocking to see those pics, I hope you get it sorted.

In future you should call Cossie Dunc (see above) worth a wee trip along the M8
I wouldn't leave my car with any other place Paul. |
