Information request on the 220S
Hi, if anyone has sources to good information about the 220S it would be greatly appreciated.
I know about the car but I'd like to know more details about the supercharger setup, what unit was used, what cooling was used etc etc Thanks in advance

It was done by sprintex supercharges and used a oil fed cooling system

Was a pdf that I down loaded which did not work sorry. Basically told the story of Spintex involvement etc a simple google search will do the trick.. I would be a little worried about general cooling of the USA version, the basic KV6 in the FL liked to cook the engines. From what I have read the engine had to work hard and the rear bank of cylinders would be the worst for heat issues resulting in HGF.

I have tried to read everything there is to know on the subject as I had toyed with the idea years ago. All the info I read was on the sprintex version and the troubles that occured and what challenges the zs boys in counted. In a nut shell they had to use forged steel pistons and they had trouble with the oil cool feed.

I may be harsh but it seems that the 220s was built to a price, the 7th injector setup seems like a bodge, very 80s. I'd like to know more about the oil cooling system, however its setup it seems inadequate.
My plan is to use an Eaton m62 which is self contained with a charge cooler setup, seeing as the manifold would need replacing/modifying regardless I was considering a twin injection, or use a driver to open the injectors line. The stock injectors are about at the limit as they are. Have been considering water injection too.

Sounds like a very interesting project. The ZS Boys had the problem with the 7th injector. Keep us posted on the progress.
