Default That Sinking (Clutch) Feeling

Here we go again.
Leaving work yesterday morning l found the bite point lower than when l parked up the night before. It improved by the time l arrived home but not long before that. I topped up the condom-less reservoir, it took a couple of capfuls but it hasn't improved for my journey in tonight, unsurprisingly. I haven't separated the quick-release joint to test the master yet as l didn't want to get into things too far a couple of hours before l had to leave for work & in the pouring rain.

It was replaced 35,000 miles ago in 2017, new LUK master & slave plus new clutch assembly. So l now have to decide on a plan of action. Local garage or mobile specialist, new assembly or if good perhaps just the OEM driven plate l have.
Any pointers gladly considered.

Try the master cylinder first Gary, as you say that will be the easiest test.

I just split the joint & l think l'm safe in saying it's the slave at fault, of course. The pedal was solid while the joint was disconnected.
I pumped the pedal before I set off this morning & practised clutchless gearchanges on the way home, early morning roads being a good time to do so. Not always successful but preservation being the order of the day & all that. By the time l got home though the pedal was feeling close to normal but when the car sits for a few hours it drops again.
So l have to decide the way to deal with it now.
