That looks in excellent condition, take care of it

If it has not got one, worth fitting a self dimming rear view mirror
A rear electric sun blind is a bit of a toy
Hopefully others can advise about fitting cruise control if you don't have it.
If you have not got one a full size spare wheel will fit
You will find I suspect that your handbrake lever will end up coming up so high you cant pull it any further, a modified compensator will fix the problem. Arctic does modified replacements and instructions on how to change it.
Make sure the plenuim is kept clear of leaves so water can drain out.
Front spring protectors are an idea to fit, front springs known to snap and can go through the front tyre. Rear springs also known to snap, do check the rear upper arms for rust.

If you want bling, speak to Rick-sta as he does all sorts of stuff

It is a 1.8, I have seen lots of threads about head gasket failure but know nothing about it as I'm a diesel owner, so please do seek advice on causes and prevention

Can't fit cruise to a 1.8 Ian 😎 At least it was never fitted to new cars. Head gaskets, usually caused by failure of another component, Inlet manifold gasket leak (which is why I have an alloy VVC manifold) water pump and thermostat failure, low coolant (checks needed) Otherwise it's a fine engine and easy to work on.
You can use the on board display to monitor coolant temperature too
Have fun

I do like the idea of the blind and mirror, are they hard to get?
