Default Replacement key - eBay recommendation

Hi all,

Unfortunately my new tourer came with only one key.

After a trawl through a few threads a company called Keys in the Post popped up.

So I ordered one.

The first one felt "close" but didn't work.

Now, my view on this sort of thing is that sometimes stuff doesn't work but it's what happens next that's the deal breaker or not.

A quick message to the seller, a couple of new photos making sure that they were at absolutely square to the key and my new, free, replacement arrived a few days later. Good comms from the seller.

I'll happily use him again.

I need to get a new PCB & transponder sorted out and coded which will be a Jamiewelch job but I don't know to an issue if you wanted to transfer the innards to a new fob with its new, secure blade.

I have just bought a key from those people. The key blade itself is ok, but I couldn't get the circuit board from my original Rover key to fit properly into the new shell. Gave up eventually and bought a new shell and swopped all the bit (circuit board, transponder and blade) over. Had to araldite the blade into the new shell, but all works ok. Will suffice as a spare key.

I used this company for a new key a few weeks ago.I liked the idea that it came with a newly cut blade already fitted.A bit fidly transfering the inards across but everything works fine.Pleasant and efficient people to deal with.

I have bought a key from Keys In The Post too with success. The casing is a bit cheap but the blade is spot on. So with the addition of a transponder and remote supplied and programmed by Jamie Welch I have a complete 2nd key.
