A lovely man, from a gentler age, his interactions with Morecambe and Wise were some of the great moments of comedy, with no need of swearing or vulgarity. RIP.

Ah! Dear Des. Another one of the great entertainers. He'll be having a game of golf with Eric Morecambe. Watch out, he's got "Careless Hands"! RIP Des.

That is very sad. A great entertainer and always came across as a lovely guy. A tragic way to depart.
