Default Tilting headrests

Ok this may be the silliest question ever asked on here but I can't figure out how the front headrests tilt in my 75.

Before anyone asks I've got a mk1 Connoisseur with full leather.

The only button I can see is the one to move them up and down.

I’m pretty sure that the head restraints only have up and down adjustments.

early ones I have read recently had tilt function. I havent read much about this, but it was mentioned somewhere recently and may have been a ppd loss . I miss having them (from previous cars), but it could be that embossed head rest had them and non embossed dont?

I do not think due to timing any ZTs had them, but may be wrong on this.

Default headrests

I have the ppd embossed ones and sadly they don't tilt which is a real nuisance. I also have the original ones and they are the same.

Thanks everyone. Didn't know that the tilt function was a PD loss I thought all higher spec cars had it. Strangely enough it is mentioned in my owners handbook but doesn't say how to do it just 'the head restraint should be tilted so it is as close to the head as possible' or something like that. Maybe they forgot to edit it out when they removed the feature.

It may not have been a PPD loss, they may have been only available either as an early option, or only very early cars (I really dont know).

Previous cars I have have had, relied on friction or simply moving them until they clicked into place (pulling them all the way forward, released the spring lock and returned to standard).

I'm sure titling head restraints were standard on Club upwards and were never deleted.

However, they are stiff and there is no button. Give them a really hard push on one direction or other than they should move. They are stiff and use friction to stay in place.

I have a MK1 Connoisseur with full leather but I have not seen a button for doing anything with the headrests, where would I find it?

Where the bar meets the top of the seat is a button at the base, press this and lift the head rest.
