That film has a proper old breakers yard, at the beginning, worth watching just for that.
We used to go to the Stock Cars at Wimbledon, mainly. Mid to late 60’s Very atmospheric evenings, Good entertainment. We went to Speedway as well, also at Plough Lane. One of the top drivers was “Foxy” Down ? Was it the Safari’s Wipe Out that played at the start of each race? I particularly remember when, in the half way interval, Joe Soap could enter their own cars for a couple of (single car) laps. One chap took a Jag e-type round, and went straight into one of the RSJ pylons on the outside of the track. The commentator announced that when he had signed on, the chap had said the car belonged to his Dad. This interval entertainment only lasted a year or two.

Yes I've watched all these 'Look at Life' videos narrated by Tim Turner on youtube, In fact I've download some of the episodes onto a USB stick to re-watch in the car if I'm charging up on a public fast charger.
