Default Is this project Drive

I have looked at this project drive thread but not seen a picture and wonder if my find is a project drive deletion
https://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/for...=project+drive

Found at the breakers today a folding in and out ash tray for the rear passengers that fits into the rear of the centre console.

Would love one in sandstone so if anyone wants to swap or has a sandstone one, pleas pm me.

I think it probably is a Project Drive candidate.

My 51 saloon has one, but my 54 tourer does not; both are Conny's.

Regards

Mike

Think it was a project drive deletion. My 05 ZT didn't have one, although it does now as I put it back - not that I smoke, or I would ever let anyone smoke in my car.

My 04 Connie SE MK2 had one, but the previous owner had kitted it out from the factory.

My August 2002 produced, humble, lowly, Club SE has one.

Looks like its never been used.

If it was a Project Drive deletion it doesn't get a mention in the PD thread in this forum, which covers deletions/alterations up to 15th January 2003, so perhaps it was applied after that date.

My '02 Conny has it. Never heard of it being a PD deletion.

Intrigued by this, I wondered if the answer might be found in the early sales brochures, which I still have, from my first (W reg) 75, in April 2000. They itemise all ? of the additions as you look from classic, upto Conny SE.

I could find no text reference to it at all; nor are there any photographs that help.

I also have the original Approved Accessories brochure, and it's not in there either.

Is it possible to check the club's S reg. basic model, I wonder.

Regards

Mike

Never seen one before.
My first trip to the breakers for months. The second breaker had some bits I would have taken but a bit expensive for me. £20 for a plastic walnut dash, just the big bit and £30 for a tourer rear screen. Unfortunately the tail gate is locked shut. I shall try to look at wiring diagram to see where to apply 12v to unlock the glass and then perhaps revisit.
The 3rd breaker did not have any 75's

According to previous threads, it was a deletion under project drive. My car has one, October 01
