Tyre pressures
Hi All,just got myself a cracking set of pro refurbed Meteors with very good 225/45/17 Bridgestone Potenzas. Can't find anything in the book regards tyre pressures for 17",anyone know what it should be?
Ta.

Having done 30 miles or so with the pressures at 32, I'm going to try the 30/28 as suggested above, as the ride quality is a bit too fidgety.Strangely feels like a more modern car now, but I bought it for its waftabilty, albeit i love the looks with the Meteors on.
Other than that, might try 225/50/17's to see if that helps, any one care to comment?

I'd go 2.5 (Front) & 2.4 (Rear). That's bar.

Really, on a 45 profile? That's the equivalent of 36psi ? I value my fillings!

Well I've just dropped to 30 front and 28 rear, and it does seem a little better. The Bridgestones have stiff sidewalls apparently compared with some other brands, so that might have someting to do with it as well.
Maybe 225/50/17's are the way to go?
