Default Kenwood IR steering controls - Help needed

I need sone help re-connecting the Kenwood IR steering wheel control box on a 2002 ZT with a Kenwood KRC-391 head unit.

The box has 3 wires coming out of it (Excluding the IR sensor), Green/White, Blue/Purple & Black.

I have identified the 2 wires from the car loom going into the BMW connector block for the steering wheel controls, Blue/Orange & Blue/Purple.

I need to know how to re-connect the 3 Kenwood wires back into the car loom if anyone can help?

Thanks.

Green/White is 12v ignition feed, connect Blue/Purple to Blue/Purple, Blue/Orange to Black

Default Kenwood IR

Thanks Raykay,

Think my IR box must be knackered, as the unit is not responding to the steering controls.

Make sure the head unit can 'see' the LED, a common thing for it to be out of alignment.

Yep, had the LED right in front of the head unit to test!
