I have just done mine this week. Indeed takes time if you want to do it properly, but I think it is worth the effort. Also did the pillar trims, while lefting the B-pillars in situ. I have chosen a bit warmer colour, 4 mm thick velours, giving it the extra luxurious touch i.m.o. Still need to do the door cards, but I need to order extra material for that. We (my wife helped me a lot!) used 2,5 can of 110 degrees heat resisting glue. Liner out of the car via the front passenger door, with that seat sitting part fully to the BACK and the backpart just a bit more to the back 45 degrees, giving me the most space I have noticed. Rubbing of the old material is not a nice job. When glued, make sure to cut the holes before placing the liner back, but a bit smaller than the original holes for the grab handles etc. , this helps putting things back properly and without showing any gabs of cuttings which you do not want ofcourse. Good luck, will stay nice the upcoming 20 years. Worth the job compaired with screwing in punaises I think.

Hi Emiel.
Looking at your old head liner i think trying to use it will be a no go from what yours looks like.

Thank you for sharing the photos.

Hi Arctic,

no that won't work, a new one will do the job. Hope you can find the proper colour and texture. In order to do the roof, pillars and doorcards I need/needed 6 x 1,5 meter. It works nice to know if one makes a mistake there is some left-over material. I ordered 4 x 1,5 meter and that is not enough, so a new order is out soon.
Let us know how you managed .
Have a great day.

Cheers from Holland,

Emiel

Hi Emiel.
I was looking at these below.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/273780397617

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/313374132983

What length is suggested just for the roof lining 3m-or 4meters please, i d like the Titanium colour, also as anyone used Evobond to seal the roof card first?

Hi, indeed 2 meters just for the roof is enough (with a width of 1,5 meters). If possible ask for some samples first, there is real difference in what you see on the screen and how it feels and looks in reality.

As opposed to what Emiel says 150cm therefore was the 140cm wide enough to do the roof lining and i am of cause talking about a tourer not a saloon, cheers Arctic.

PS roof lining is cream.

Hi Arctic, my ordered fabric is a standard 150 cm wide, which gave me some space to hang enough over both sides when attaching it and I wanted it to be glued also on the backside a bit.

You could have a look on this movie, the guy eplains the proces pretty good I think.

Cheers.

[QUOTE=Arctic;2977941]Hi Chris do you have the link please, also i note it is only 140cm.

its not cream..

and cannot see that a tourer is any wider than a saloon ?
1.4m does the width comfortably, A 2 metre length does a saloon with a bit left over.
