Zed the Ted has been getting down and dirty this weekend here he is on board number 778 on the Leighton Buzzard railway for those who are interested the the loco’ was built in the USA 90 years ago in philadelphia for hauling supplies to the troops in the trenches during World War One and restored to working order after a seven-year fund-raising and management project.

After me not even leaving Blighty for over 35 years we are off to Australia on December 26th for three weeks.
If there is a gap in Zeds schedule at that time he is welcome to come along.
If Zed likes fireworks i know that we will be seeing in the new year from on the water in Sydney harbour.
Don't know what else is lined up yet as we are staying with our youngest's girlfriends parents and they are arranging a pretty full itinerary by all accounts so there should be plenty of photo opportunities.
Would also be great if we could meet up with any members from down under while we are there.

Zed has arrived at Leigh on Sea, Essex, not that you'd know that from the photo because it was dark. More pics of his adventures to follow in the coming days. regards, David
