Default low milage ZT Wanted

Thanks guys..

Im currently looking to purchase a low milage ZT, either a CDTI or 120. Ive seen a 2 owner 54 plate, 51k 120 in BRG for £999 locally, but from an initial viewing it looked rather un loved. Flat tyres, a few paint scuffs and severe damage to NS rear door. It seems very cheap!!

What are spare door prices like? and should I be concerned about Head gasket problems with the k series?

On the other hand Ive seen a 54plate CDTI in firefrost red with 33k for £4450, 1 owner plus dealer, the only problem with this one is its 180 miles away but the car looks mint!!

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

After nearly 2 years of signing up to this owners club I have gone and done it.....
Im now the proud owner of a Mk1 Royal Blue MG ZT 190+
51K, 2 owners from new, FSH, belts just replaced, all standard ZT jobs completed,..

Im sure I will be asking many questions over the next few months / years but you guys seem like a friendly bunch so Im looking forward to the joys & challenges that lie ahead.

First question is... How do I find out Build date / scarcity / production numbers etc of the vehicle? Is there a website I can enter my VIN details?
Thanks
