I ALWAYS drive mine fully laden with PA gear, three guys and a full roofbox. It's also an automatic and I use the cruise control a lot. I tend to get 500 miles to a tank full.

In the auto tourer, 500 miles max.
In the manual saloon, 600 miles max.
Both from full to fuel light on. Driving usually 4 no. 100 mile journeys, and a bit of town driving in between.

Manual - about 640 miles to a tank. Can get that down to 570 or so with hard driving, or occasionally above 700 when doing long cruises.

We've got an auto and a manual, and I've found a fair difference in fuel consumption.

Over 50 mpg for my manual and when I've driven Mrs Noc's auto 42 at best. It averages around 38, but does less motorway cruising than mine.

Around 600 miles range for my manual.

Worst case, driving with a lead foot, bad attitude and in 3MPH average city traffic - about 480 miles.

Best case, feather footing, with a following wind and drafting trucks at 55MPH - something over 700 miles.

Did a round trip to my parents last night and used just over half a tank indicated - 480 mile round trip - granted the fuel gauge does tend to consume the bottom quarter of the indicated range a hell of a lot faster than it consumes the top quarter of indicated.

I see an average of about 520 miles to a tank before I chicken out and refill when I get the low fuel warning on the dash.
