Knocking Sound :(
Okay, well I know my 75 quite well and what noises it makes and what noises it doesn't make.
So after a long drive from Cornwall to Glasgow for a gig the DAB radio couldn't pick up a station. We were driving in silence when I heard a very quiet but distinctive thump. Made no difference how fast I was going or over what terrain. Now ... I've recently changed the lower engine mount and the wishbone bushes, so was thinking front wheel bearings?? The other guys couldn't hear it, however when I stopped the car it continued, so now thinking engine related ... until one of my fellow musicians heard it and suggested it was coming from the speaker ... doh. I turned the radio off and it stopped!!

Thread moved to a more appropriate forum. Re-direct left in old. This may be the better forum as threads get ‘lost’ very quickly in the General Forum.
