Dawn, I’ve used Tanya for batteries lately after some recommendations on here.
https://www.tayna.co.uk/delivery Might be worth checking out for the avensis, should you decide to purchase a new battery. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dawn - if you need a new battery, have a look at the prices here - https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/.
This one's got some wellie (75Ah / 700A CCA) - https://www.tayna.co.uk/car-batteries/enduroline/096/ - 278L x 175W x 190H (mm). Edit: Sean beat me to it. Last edited by Blink; 3rd April 2020 at 16:52.. |

just replaced the battery on my diesel 75.
Bought a cheap one, lasted about 3 years. With the old battery, Did not use the car for about 3 weeks, was flat so jumper leaded it, got it going , was ok if it was run every 4 or 5 days but much longer it would go flat again. Got it tested, about 50 percent charge rate retention, decided a decent battery was the way to go. Lucky if you get 3 years out of a battery these days. |
