Shaking on acceleration
Diesel.
So ... my thermostat housing started leaking. I changed that and in doing so noticed that my Upper Engine Mount was in two halves! I ordered one and on putting everything back together (this is my daily drive) the car started shaking lots when accelerating. Naturally I assumed it was the engine mount. New engine mount arrived, I fitted it. Shaking still happening I did my 290,000 mile service, changed the Crankcase Oil Breather Filter, and the shaking stopped happening! How does a filter affect that?
