Default Non starter

Hi people,

Went to start my ZT CDTi this morning which has been an excellent starter and I fear I may have hit the lock button on the key fob as I turned the ignition?
So what I'm getting is a clonk and headlights flash but not turning over?
Is there a way I can system reset or something?
I ran it around last week it was fine?
Cheers

Your battery is flat Ray, charge it up and normal service will resume

The central locking isn't related to the immobiliser, and the flashing headlights are a symptom of a discharged battery

As above post.---Minimum 24 hours charge.

Don't believe the lights on your charger if they say the battery is full in just a few hours.----

I was hoping it might be that, I've been isolating since March 10th and washed the car yesterday was about to run it around the block to dry the brakes.

Cheers

Just remove the leads then charge it in situ if you prefer.

I've never removed the leads to charge my battery.

Connect the charger leads to the battery THEN switch on the charger.
Switch off the charger BEFORE removing the leads.
