Is there a clear date and details of when the final R75/MG-ZT (or maybe something else...) came off the rolling production line at Longbridge and are there images?.
I'm guessing some vehicles will have been completed away from the production line and were parked-up in warehouses/runways etc. awaiting disposal by the receivers.

The Silver Machine was the 13th of 160 Rover 75's to come off the production line that day and is the 100th of 527 Starlight Silver Rover 75 2.5 V6 Connoisseur SE Auto saloons listed in the build records produced world wide.

The Price Waterhouse assembly vehicles, that where using shells not built based on VIN number order. Ones that where almost built, ones parked up not delivered (eg my lhd 2004 75 is registered as a vanden Plas because it was ment to get the lwb conversion but never did and got sold in the big PW auction after liquidation ) or ones that where put through the auction in general that where ready.

I've a few ex workers I've gotten to know, with confirming stories now and they where involved in the PW car builds, very interesting bunch but camera shy about it all these years later still.

I've been to Gaydon (BMM) 8 or 9 times over the last 3 years. The last 75 has always been there. The first I've never seen. I've asked the staff and they always say it's out on loan but never seem to know where.

You may already have seen this but following POL on 13 April on Sunday 14th there is the National 75 meet at Gaydon and car number 001 is said to be specially on display. Along with the chance to meet some key people involved with the 75.If you look at the events you will see the details.
