Default Panel Fit Question

Rebuilding the front end of a facelift tourer thats been hit on the front nearside, so theres a bit of fiddling with panel fit and gaps, particularly where the bonnet sides abut to the wings. Question is, what was the fit like new? I suspect that you may have almost been able to walk through there, which would lead to my tolerances being lowered. Thanks in anticipation

Few pics below which may help if you need the gap measurements let me know but once you have the slam panel in place this should be your guide Arctic
