Morning all, I'm glad that wind has died down, I've got to do my old run today as the new driver is tired and wants a day off

I have the dentist for the 2nd appointment out of 3 for this week, have an early 8am appointment

nothing like getting in there first.

Good morning Jeff,

I arrive at Heathrow on Sunday at 11:00 via a connection in Amsterdam. I will pick up a Uber XL Taxi for £40 a fixed price. If I share with a stranger, the price drops to £31

The local taxi in north London where home is, said as its Sunday, they would charge £150, a journey of 25 miles each way. Clearly they don't want to drive to the airport or are just plain greedy. My usual 'meet and greet', can't pick me up as he is in hospital.

It's been cold and miserable here for the past week, so I am really looking forward to seeing you next Wed to catch up, have a laugh and hopefully experience the promised warmer weather in pleasant and enjoyable surroundings
