Took the front end off to fit the Revotec fan and do other bits. Bumper came off really easily, the slam panel/headlights took a bit longer as I hadn't researched it before hand. Anyway, all off and then the rain started Only managed to change the O-rings and intercooler hose and flush out the smelly washer bottle before rain stopped play and I put it all back together. At least next time I'll know what I'm doing and it will be a lot speedier.

Jacked up the ZTT, got it on axle stands, got my shiny new genuine MG Rover oil filter out and then realised I didn't have a 36 mil shallow socket for the filter case. Doh!

I replaced both rear bushes last years with Rover items from DMGRS. That's what threw the tracking out. My guess is that the previous owner had the tracking done when what was really needed was a new rear arm bush.
Apart from the shock absorbers, which seem ok, she's all done now. |

Wheel finished I just need to fit it now
As an aside SWMBO phoned me this morning to ask "what the hell is this thing in the car" me not having a clue what she was talking about had to have it explained to me in very pointed language that she clearly does not like the all leather wheel I'd fitted while I dyed the wooden one

Did an oil change on my 75, and waxoyled the whole front end of the car while the undertray was off. Will do the rest of the car later in the week. Cannot believe how good this Tourer is underneath!

This evening this grumpy old cogger turns up, demands Tea and Biscuits, watches me telly, forces me to "Exchange" a set of door mirrors for some old tat, then holds me at gunpoint until I clean up his flaming headlight lenses...
I got my own back on him though and fitted some DRL's... he swore he would never have them so when you see this car, take the micky out of him...
