Iv had th same problems in th past. One remedy was to turn on nearside indicator if that's th faulty one and then put on th hazards. This extra amp age seams to make th problem go away for a week or 2. But in th end i found th strip and clean of th rear lamp connector and putting a slight twist in each male connector bought th faulty earth back to life.

I'm not sure that applies to an automatic?? Its only the nearside lamp, Ive had, and continue to have, a lot of trouble with water ingress on that side(I've made all the recommended water repairs but its still getting in). I've changed the bulb and the bulb holder, cleaned the contacts, removed amd cleaned all the wires individually from the connection plug, cleaned the earthing point inside the wing, no joy from any of it. All the other lights on that cluster are fine. Annoying. |
